Some other 3D pumpkins from this year. Once I was used to the technique, I sort of liked it. It's like affordable sculpting supplies.

I have never tried carving into the flesh, just the typical outline cut straight through the pumpkin. With the large charity pumpkins this year, they had sufficient thickness for sculpting. Unfortunately, I broke the original nose and had to widdle down to a smaller one :(

Once again the nephews voted on the costume. With VERY little time and absolutely no money, I used what I had to build it... paper, foam, paint and tape.
